Miguel Almiron is struggling in a Newcastle United shirt.
Indeed, the 25-year-old is still waiting for his first goal or assist for the Magpies after drawing another blank against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
Since arriving at St James’ Park in January, Almiron has made 20 appearances for Newcastle in all competitions and has failed to provide a meaningful contribution.
According to WhoScored, Almiron had two shots, won two tackles and completed one dribble during his 90 minutes on the field against Wolves.
And whilst a number of the Newcastle fans are seemingly still behind the Paraguay international, that is not a view shared by everyone.

Indeed, there was a real mixed reaction from the club’s supporters at the weekend when discussing whether Almiron would eventually come good for Steve Bruce’s side.
