Considering this is Newcastle’s first season back in the Premier League after getting promoted from the Championship at the first attempt, it has been a pretty successful campaign. Newcastle have provided the Toon Army with plenty of enjoyable moments, some of which will live long in the memory.
With the season coming to an end, I thought now would be as good a time as ever to have a look at Newcastle’s five most memorable moments of the season. There were plenty to choose from, but the handful I’ve selected, I hope you agree, are all crackers. Hatem Ben Arfa’s stunning strike against Everton would have made the top five had the Frenchman not been ruled out through injury for the rest of the season.
So, baring a goal fest or a goal of the season contender against West Brom on Sunday, here are Newcastle’s five best moments of the season…
