The majority of Celtic fans that answered our recent poll think that Kieran Tierney is worth over £25m after his performances for the Bhoys at the start of this season.
During the international break, Tierney played 90 minutes for Scotland in their 2-1 loss to Israel in the UEFA Nations League, but he was sent back to Parkhead before the second game against Portugal to avoid a burnout.
Whilst some fans of the national side may have been disappointed with this, Celtic fans would have certainly been pleased as the 21-year-old has already made 19 appearances for his club so far this season.
This proves just how important the left-back is to Brendan Rodgers’ side, as does the results of our poll where 76 per cent of Celtic fans claimed that their former youth product was now worth over £25m to their club.
Given his consistently high performances it seems as though Tierney, who was linked with a number of Premier League clubs in England in the summer, will be targeted in the coming transfer windows, but Celtic must hold out for a record fee for their rising star, which would eclipse the £19.7m that Lyon paid for Moussa Dembele in the summer.
