The Canadian full-back's current deal expires at the end of the season and Real Madrid have been linked with him for a long time. However, rivals Barcelona are also interested in signing Davies, while Manchester United have reportedly made him a top priority for next summer.

Bayern have made persuading Davies to stay in Munich their top priority, Florian Plettenberg reports, and they are in talks with the 24-year-old over a new deal. The player's agent recently said a new contract at Bayern is an option as he denied reports that an agreement with Madrid is already in place.
