Reinforcements are on the way for Pep Guardiola as Marmoush prepares to jet from Germany to England and join the Premier League champions. Sky Sports in Germany have revealed that the Egyptian striker will undergo his medical on Monday, before signing his contract and being presented at the Etihad.

Despite having the robotic Haaland as their starting striker, City are still willing to fork out €80million (£67.6m/$82.5m) for the Egypt international. Marmoush waved goodbye to the fans on Friday following their 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund. The Eintracht Frankfurt forward will provide a huge amount of firepower alongside the Norwegian, as well as Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Co.

Marmoush has bagged 15 goals in 17 Bundesliga games this season and has also provided nine assists. He sits behind the one and only Harry Kane in the charts, but will give up the chase for the Golden Boot and swap it for life in England's top flight.
