Napoli are hoping to bring Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko to Italy this summer, according to the Express.
Chelsea target Edinson Cavani is on the verge of leaving Napoli for around £50million and so the Serie A side want Dzeko, along with Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic to replace the Uruguay next season.
A deal for Jovetic is still up in the air but new City boss is happy to allow Dzeko to leave the Etihad this summer as long as a replacement is found first.
The Premier League runners up have already sold striker Carlos Tevez to Italy and Juventus so will have just one firs team forward should Dzeko also leave.
City are hoping to get at least £17million for the Bosnian striker who was used more as a substitute last season under Robert Mancini.
However, new Napoli boss Rafa Benitez will not want to spend that much on a second choice striker and is set to open talks with City soon.
