In the video a 22-year-old Henry can be seen unleashing a shot from outside the box that finds the back of the net to hand Arsenal a 1-0 win over Southampton. The goal would significantly start a scoring run that would last until 2007 until Henry left Arsenal for Barcelona.
Henry would eventually end up becoming the club’s all-time leading goal scorer with a total of 228 goals.
In 2005, he broke the record for the most Arsenal goals after scoring in a Champions League match at Sparta Prague to overtake Ian Wright. In 2012, he made a return to Arsenal with a five-month loan spell, scoring on his first game back against Leeds United.
