A number of Liverpool fans have been on social media discussing their star performer in Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Red Bull Salzburg.
The Reds secured their spot in the last-16 stage of the competition as Group E winners courtesy of a 2-0 success in Austria, with Naby Keita and Mohamed Salah both scoring.
After the match, the fans were asked to choose between Alisson Becker, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane and Keita for the MOTM award.
And there were a lot of differing opinions on who deserved it.
One player not mentioned was Virgil van Dijk, and a number of the Liverpool fans could not believe that they were not given the option to choose the Dutchman.

According to WhoScored, the 28-year-old won two headers and boasted an 84% pass success rate from the middle of the back four.
Much has been made of Liverpool’s perceived lack of squad depth in recent months, but head coach Jurgen Klopp has made regular changes in recent weeks, and the team have continued to pick up impressive results.
Indeed, the Merseyside giants are still yet to lose in the Premier League this season, whilst four wins out of six have seen them book their spot in the last-16 stage of the competition they won last term.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have been warned by a former Leicester City striker that the Foxes are still in the Premier League title race.
